Arindam is Executive Vice President and the Country Head for State Street India. Arindam has the overall responsibility for the management of all operations of our India offices based across Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Vijayawada, which comprises of around 22,000 employees. He oversees this workforce and delivery of critical services and processes across our businesses, in partnership with global business and corporate functional leaders.

Arindam is also responsible for the governance and oversight for areas of compliance within the country regulatory framework. He is the Chair of the State Street India Management Committee and the India Risk and Compliance Committee.

Chhavi has 28 years of industry experience, of which 24 years have been in Reference Data Technology. Chhavi joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 and has worked on technology solutions for the Equity and Fixed Income businesses as well as Operations. She is currently the Global Head of Corporate Events Reference Data Technology. The team is responsible for the architecture, design, development, and distribution of corporate events reference data for Institutional Securities and Wealth Management across diverse business lines.

Chhavi started her career as an equity analyst in the Indian stock markets. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she garnered Reference Data experience during stints at Broadridge, GoldenSource, Barclays and Singapore Exchange. In addition to her day job, Chhavi is passionate about volunteering and has been instrumental in starting the Tech Education volunteering initiative for Morgan Stanley in India. Data is her other passion and in her role as a champion of Data Engineering & Analytics initiatives, Chhavi has led tech-wide hackathons for Morgan Stanley across Asia.

She has 20+ years of experience in various fields of public administration including general administration, implementation of development programs, planning and public policy making. She is recipient of Prime Ministers award for Excellence in Public Administration for her work in implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.

Dr. Ekroop has held key positions in government including position of Secretary Finance, dealing with state budget, resources and expenditure. Also headed Karnataka State Finance Corporation. She has unique experience of running the country’s largest urban transport company – BMTC. Besides receiving many awards for her work in BMTC, she was also involved in various committees and groups at national and international level and contributed towards shaping of policies and strategies for public transport.

She was instrumental in creating the initial strategy and blueprint in India for Global Markets Operations at BoA by growing capabilities and building a cohesive proposition that catered to the entire array of products and regions.

Before Bank of America, Sangeeta worked at BNP Paribas for almost a decade in multiple areas and was the Joint Head of Corporate Bank, MNC Coverage. Prior to joining Broadridge, Sheenam was the Vice President of Dell Digital Services and an APJ CIO leader at Dell Technologies. In her previous stints, she has led strategic business and technology roles at Finacle, at EdgeVerve an Infosys Company, SAP and Oracle. She is an ICF Certified ACC and PCC Executive Coach and a certified Lean and Design Thinking Coach.

Under Chetan’s leadership, Allstate India won the Kincentric ‘Best Employer India’, The Economic Times ‘Best Workplaces for Women’, and was certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for multiple years. Recognized among India’s Best Leaders in ‘Times of Crisis 2021’ and The Economic Times ‘Most Promising Business Leaders of Asia 2022’, Chetan has over 30 years of experience in Financial Services, Product Development, and General Management. Chetan has built technology solutions for global financial markets and set up technology and business operations for multinational firms in India.

Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Wealth Management and Banking at SunGard India and established operations for Northern Trust in India. Chetan holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, is a Sloan Fellow from London Business School, completed an Executive program at Kellogg School of Management, and serves as an alumni interviewer for the Sloan program. Chetan is the ex-chair of the NASSCOM GCC council for Karnataka and a visiting faculty at IIM Bangalore. Passionate about giving back, Chetan is involved in youth empowerment, environmental initiatives, and supporting schools for the less privileged. Chetan is also active in sports like table tennis and squash, enjoys traveling, and is a wine and food connoisseur.

Veda Persad is the Country Executive for India. In this role, Veda is responsible for resiliency, statutory compliance, and the talent strategy to enable business priorities of the organization. Veda brings operational expertise and extensive global experience to the role.

Since joining Northern Trust in 2004, Veda has held progressive roles within the company including Relationship Manager, Canada Chief Risk Officer, Global Head of Control – Income and International Tax, Division Head for India Entitlements and, most recently, Global Services APAC Operations Practice Executive.
In her previous role, Veda was responsible for the execution of client Operational delivery. Her teams included Cash and Payment Operations, Banking & Loans, Asset Coding, Entitlements, Trade & Settlement, Asset Pricing and Capital Markets Operations.

Veda has been recognized among the Top 100 Executive Allies by LGBT Great and is a passionate advocate for DEI. Prior to joining Northern Trust, she was Vice President, Client Services and Operations, Clarington Funds Inc. Veda began her career at State Street and IFDS Ltd. and has built extensive experience in all aspects of custodial, fund accounting and transfer agency operations.

Veda holds a B.A. Economics degree from the University of Toronto and is a Six Sigma Black Belt certified professional.
